Uttrakhand , a state in northern india covered by the himalayas is known for its hindu pilgrim site. this state is rich in flore and fauna , Natural and touristic ambience and house of some most important pilgrimage centre in the country. Uttrakhand is a part of the western himalayas ranges starting from the Shivalik foothills to Greater Himalayas with tibet as its northeastern border.

It have charming hill station, snowclad hills tops and few world renowed conservation park like 'jim corbet park national park' and Asan wetland conservation reseve and some world heritage sites like 'valley of flower' and nanda devi Biosphere reserve . Apart of this uttrakhand have some adoravle places also few are described below


1. Nainital


 

  This lovely hill station Nainital is well know as the "lake region of india " getting its name from the hindu goddess Naina devi the primary spot to visit in here is the Nainital lake , sattal lake, bhimtal lake and Naukuchital lake.

2. Raniket - Meadows of the queen



   The charming hill station of Ranikhet is located in the Almora District of uttrakhand at an elevation of 1829 mts above the sea level. This hill station raniket litrally meaning queens land , is an season tourist- spot for the admires to the natural beauty. Ranikhet is a place that reflets the best of the great Himalayas.

4. Rishikesh
